Clwb Hwyl Hwyr

Clwb HwyL Hwyr is a youth club for children aged between 5 to 14 based in Prestatyn, conducted through the medium of Welsh. Clwb aims to offer and deliver Welsh Language activities to the young people of Prestatyn - outside the school gates.

The Club provides planned programmes of activities ranging from organised games, drama, arts and crafts and trips.

What does the Board do?

The Board's work includes: offering advice and information to central government and to the public; ensuring that public sector bodies treat the Welsh and English languages equally in their services; keeping an overview on all aspects of Welsh language education and training; encouraging and assisting private companies and voluntary organisations to use more Welsh; distributing grants to promote and facilitate the use of Welsh; and developing resources and services which make it easier to use Welsh.
